Hi! I came across your blog when I am researching for my lasik surgery.. I came across a latest technology (2009) which may correct problems arising from lasik surgery..like night vision and all that. However, I do not know the details as I only saw it from the doctor’s website. This doctor is one of the top surgeons in singapore. Feel free to email me if you would like more information. Don’t worry, I’m not working for him.. in fact, I’m doing my lasik surgery next week with another surgeon in Gleneagles so I have nothing to gain from this. Just felt sorry for you that things din work out and hope that I can help.

Hi,

Found your website while searching on some information for my mom’s cataract surgery.

I believed the EYETECH LASER CENTER in Sunway has closed down. Passed by the other day and found the the center has changed name to Optimax.

So, I guess the center doesn’t really have a reputable record.

And thanks for sharing the Doctor’s name. At least we will be cautious when consulting with any ophthalmology.

Wow… I know you probably hear this all the time and the words might have lost their significance, but I’m really sorry to what is happening to you.
I have a high degree of myopia and astigmatism myself and LASIK had always been at the back of my mind, but now I’m beginning to have my doubts.
As it is, losing a single digit itself is already traumatic, let alone your eyesight. It is mind boggling that the practitioners could carry on with their lackadaisical attitude, conveniently washing their hands off without nary a guilt.

Hi i just found your site after doing a google search. im a fellow singaporean too, and very sorry to hear abt ur lasik problems. i also want to thank you for sharing ur stories with the world. i think its important that more pple know abt the dangers of lasik.

not sure if u have seen this story in the NY times. the author also had bad results from lasik
